Here we are, holed up in our homes, terrified of a microscopic bit of stuff that has spread throughout our global community.  By all rights we should be gathered with family and friends, sharing rituals and pouring wine for each other, catching up on the year past and enjoying great food and familiar lessons.

But not tonight.  Tonight we are images on a screen and sounds from a speaker.  The world made smaller by technology and travel now has us isolated in person.

No matter. In every generation, each of us has an obligation to see ourelves as having been liberated from the narrowness of Egypt.  And however we can accomplish it, we will. Settle in, participate as you choose, and build a memory that you be part of your story -- how we we were freed from the oppression of the coronavirus!
