Ten Plagues

The ten plagues is a very interesting topic that comes up during the corse of the seder. When the jews were slaves on Egypt Moses asked Pharaoh to let his people go. Pharaoh said no and then god started sending down plagues on Egypt. Blood was the first plague. I think god decided to do blood first because he is torturing the Egyptians but there still surviving so it was sort of like the same position that the Jews were in at the time. The Jews were slaves and being tortured but they were no dying. After blood came frogs. Frogs are not a terrible thing but being ambushed by tons of frogs must be terrible. The frogs were all over the Egyptians just like the Egyptians were all over the jews telling them what to do. After frogs came lice. The lice were all over the body's of the Egyptians. After lice came wild animals. Imagine wild animals running all over you're city or town insane right! Then all of the animals that had been running around got sick. Lots of the animals died and lots of them were the animals that the Egyptians owned. The sixth played was boils. The Egyptians were covered in boils for a while. Boils are very painful so it must have really hurt the Egyptians during the sixth plague. This next plague is one of the most insane plagues it is the storm of hail. The hail was coming down like crazy and must of hurt lots of people. The hail was also made of fire so when the Egyptians were in there houses the houses were most likely to burn down. That is why I think that plague is one of the most destructive ones. After hail came locust. It came down on all of the people in Egypt. Following that came darkness. The darkness followed the Egyptians so that they could not see anything. The Jews had light though and could see. For the Egyptians I bet it was really bad because they could see absolutely nothing! The last plague was probably the worst one of all. The first born son of all Egyptian families died. It was horrible for all of the families and Pharaoh. That is when Pharaoh decided to let the jewish people go. I bet it was good for the jews to be able to be free but it must have been hard for them seeing the Egyptians so sad. That pretty much sums up all of the ten plagues.
