A seder celebrates family, friends, freedom, and community. The seder includes readings from a haggadah (this book) and discussion amongst guests regarding the readings/themes of the haggadah. After we've gone through the haggadah, we will serve a festive meal which will conclude with a hunt for the afikoman*.

Seders traditionally focus on retelling the story of the ancient Israelite's Exodus from Mitzrayim (meaning "narrow place"). We'll go there (briefly) over the course of this seder, but the overall focus will be a little bit more...unfocused.
