Tonight, all around the world, families and friends are gathering around tables big and small to celebrate Passover. While seders can range from a few words to a few hours, all have a same common thread: they are part dinner, part service, and part storytelling. They share common themes of tradition, rebirth, freedom, and hospitality. Seders are intended to be engaging, so we hope that you will share in this endeavor as well!

In Hebrew, "seder" means order; the steps that we'll be following tonight that have been practiced for generations, and are structured to help carry forward the traditions. This booklet is called a "Haggadah," which comes from the Hebrew root meaning "to tell." This Haggadah will help us tell the story of Passover, one step at a time.
