There are a variety of ways to fulfill this ritual.

At some seders the seder leader is the only one to wash their hands and does so on behalf of all in attendance.

At our seder all who want to wash their hands do so. We have a large bowl set on our sideboard and usually I'm the designated "pour-person." The children are especially happy to participate in this ritual and gladly line up to wash.

Another idea to consider at washing time is to think about (silently or share) what you would like to let go of right now, what would you like to have "washed away".

Do you have a different ritual for the hand washing?
