Matzah is called "poor man's bread" and a "bread of freedom."  How can it be both?

Matzah represents freedom because it is the bread we ate when we were liberated from Egyptian bondage.

It is made inexpensively because it is made only of flour and water.  It also reminds us that as slaves in Egypt, there was little food to eat.  We all can visualize what is to be poor.  Are there other ways in which people are "poor"?

Ha lach ma'anya is a renewal pledge that we are ready to help others.  What are some ways we can help others?
