Our Seder is a blend of some traditional elements and a fair amount of family custom and modernization for our world today. The Standard Haggadah we used for years now seems outdated and largely irrelevant to our world and lives today.

When all is said and done, a Seder is really about the basic ideal of freedom. It is wrong for people to be enslaved or otherwise judged, mistreated or harmed based on their appearance or beliefs. Even though the retelling of the story of Jews being liberated from Egpyt is a tradition going back thousands of years, the fundamental issue of how poorly different groups of people treat one another goes on unchanged.

Beyond freedom, a Seder (certainly, Our Seder) is about sharing an experience, a tradition and a meal with friends and family. Welcome!
