Fourth Cup of Wine Discussion

As a people that was once enslaved, we now have a responsibility to use our freedom to help others who still experience different types of injustice today. With each cup of wine, we have identified an issue, its underlying causes, and the questions we have. Now, with our fourth cup of wine, we look within ourselves-- we ask ourselves what we can each do to actively address this problem and personally practice tikkun olam, repairing the world, and tzedek, justice.

Fourth Cup of Wine

As we come to the end of the seder, we drink one more glass of wine. With this final cup, we give thanks for the experience of celebrating Passover together, for the traditions that help inform our daily lives and guide our actions and aspirations.

בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ, אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם, בּוֹרֵא פְּרִי הַגָּפֶן:

Baruch Atah Adonai, Eloheinu Melech ha-olam, borei p’ree hagafen.

We praise God, Ruler of Everything, who creates the fruit of the vine.
