Leader: And now we tell the story of the exodus from Egypt

Everyone take turns reading a paragraph:

Many, many year ago, our ancestors lived in Israel. There was a famine so they left and moved to Egypt, and everything was okay for a while.

Then the Egyptians enslaved the Jews and it was terrible. They held them captive, they were cruel to them, they made them work endlessly.

After generations of slavery, finally God told Moses to ask the Egyptian Pharoah to
Everyone: LET MY PEOPLE GO

But just like always, Pharoah wouldn't, so God unleashed plague after plague upon Egypt. After each plague, Moses returned to Pharoah to ask:

Everyone: LET MY PEOPLE GO

And finally after then tenth and most horrifying plague, Pharoah relented and let the Jews leave Egypt.

So they left immediately, walking out into the desert, without even taking time to prepare food. They let the sun bake dough on their backs to make Matzoh.
