The plague of darkness, of isolation from one another, was the second worst plague.  Death of the first born was the worst.  The first Passover sacrifice happened in between the plague of darkness and the plague of death.  We stayed in our homes so that the Angel of Death would “Pass Over” our homes.  So too on this Passover, we are commanded to stay in our homes to minimize the death that the threat of COVID-19 presents.  It is my hope that this Haggadah helps all of us create the most meaningful Passover possible during this pandemic.
