This is when you divide the matzo into two unequal parts.

This is also a good time to face the problem of matzo. It's terrible. It makes you constipated. It's bland. It's the ultimate slave food. Empty calories to fuel your labor.

They say we eat it to remember the poor food we had to eat and to remember how quickly we had to leave Egypt – i.e., not enough time to let bread rise. I don't find so much meaning in matzo. To me, the best takeaway I could get from it is that freedom has to be the first priority if you want to attain it. Everything else is details.
