Heedlessly, Foolishly, Dull-wittedly, or Wisely.

  1. The heedless ask "What is this ceremony of yours?" as if it does not concern them too. Isa 26:10 Though grace is shown to the wicked, they do not learn righteousness;
  2. The foolish ask only what happened without wanting to know what it means. Prov 8:5 You who are foolish, gain understanding.
  3. The dull-witted don't see or care to ask about anything. 1 Cor 11:30 That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep. But if we judged ourselves, we would not come under judgment.
  4. But the wise ask "What is the meaning of each thing we do?". Psalms 107:43 Whoever is wise, let him heed these things and consider the great love of the Lord.

Let us all be wise children here for everything in the Seder has meaning. Even if we are venerable sages steeped in Torah, it is incumbent on us to recount the exodus from Egypt and search every word.
