Yocheved's Baby (Guess Who?)

At this time, there lived an Israelite family. The father was Amram, and the mother was Yocheved. The daughter’s name was Miriam and the son’s name was Aaron. Into this family a new baby boy was born. Can you guess his name? I’ll give you a hint: It has something to do with bringing out the poor baby from a river, but it’s really just about the bringing out action. If it was about the river, his name might have been: River. But then he would’ve been a blond boy from Boulder and our story would’ve been totally different.

Anyhoo, Amram and Yocheved did not want to throw their son into the Nile and drown him, so they decided to hide him for 3 months. Yocheved wove a small basket out of reeds. She put a soft, warm blanket in the basket. Then she put the baby in it and held it in exactly this way for 3 months (see pic above).
