We think about those four types of children and tell the story of the Exodus with each in mind.

A long, long time ago there were Jews who lived in Egypt. The "king" of Egypt was called the Pharaoh and he really did not like the Jews. So, the Pharaoh made the Jews work really, really hard. He was not nice to the Jews - he even did not want them to have babies, especially baby boys. (He though boys were stronger than girls and the boys might fight with him).

There was one mom, Jochebed, who did not want her baby, Moses, to be hurt by the Pharaoh's soliders because she was Jewish. Jochbed put Moses in a basket that could float and put him in the reeds in the river to hide him; however, Moses floated away! One of Pharaoh's sisters found Moses and made him a prince in the Pharaoh's castle!

When Moses grew up, he did not like what Pharaoh was treating the Jews. He left the palace to help fight for the Jews (afterall he was Jewish!). G-d was on Moses' side when Moses ask G-d for help to free the Jews from all of the hard and unfair work.
