Here the Sorting Hat speaks of four houses: One is Ravenclaw , one is Slytherin , one is Gryffindor and one is Hufflepuff .

The Ravenclaw house, what do they say? "How do we celebrate the holiday of Pesach?" This house loves to learn and understand. Help cultivate this love of learning by reading, learning and engaging with them to help them appreciate the rituals and traditions of the Pesach holiday.

The Slytherin house, what do they say? "Why don’t we celebrate Pesach differently?" This house doesn’t just want to follow rules and dogma’s, but wishes to connect to the events surrounding the holiday of Pesach in a personal and unique way. Help cultivate this creativity by allowing them to try different things, push limits and follow their own observances of Pesach.

The Gryffindor house, what do they say? "What is this?" This child doesn’t have any set of preconceived notions about the meaning or rituals of Pesach, they simply have a desire to know what it is all about. Help cultivate their ability to ask without fear by answering their questions honestly, guide them in asking deeper and more revealing questions, and help them appreciate the power of a well-placed question.

As for the Hufflepuff house, what do they ask? Nothing! They don’t have any questions, but they perceive the actions, words and melodies of Pesach, taking it in and developing their own distinct point of view. Help cultivate this sense of perspective by allowing them to experience all the senses the holiday has to offer and showing them by example that each person at the seder has their own unique outlook.
