KAMALA HARRIS LEADS THE KARPAS

KAMALA HARRIS: Thank you to the Second Gentleman and First Lady for putting on this beautiful event.

Let me tell you, I’ve been pretty busy, and I felt badly that I couldn’t help out very much. Not that I should, I am Madam Vice President!

I think it was The Daily Show that pointed out: not only am I the first female Vice President, but I also have the extra job of running the tied-up Senate. This is going to be a lot of work!

But if anyone can handle doing both jobs for the price of one, it’s A Woman!

I’m honored to describe the symbol of The Karpas, which as we all know, is when we dip a sprig of fresh parsley into some bitter, salty water.

Mamala loves its vibe and message.

Because it paradoxically combines a metaphor of tears and slavery with one of spring and rebirth.

We can all relate to that recently, right? It’s like how fun Twitter is again now.

EVERYONE:

Baruch atah Adonai Eloheinu Melech ha`olam, bo'rei p'ri ha'adama

Praised Are You, Our G-d,  who creates the fruit of the earth.
