We have come together this evening for many reasons.

We are here because Spring is all around, the Earth is reborn, and it is a good time to celebrate with family and friends.

We are here because we are Jews and friends of Jews. We are here to honor the Jewish nation’s deep historic roots and its old important memories.

We have come from near and far to raise our voice in song, in prayer, in celebration, and in community. And with every word that we sing, with every prayer that we say, with every laugh and smile that we share, with every second we spend together, we strengthen one another. Let us celebrate this evening in commemoration of the strength of our ancestors in their quest for freedom, and the strength they have passed down from generation to generation.
