Al achat, kamah v’kamah. How much more so do we have to be thankful for the manifold and unbounded blessings of God:

God brought us out of Egypt, and executed judgments against the Egyptians, and executed judgments against their gods, and slew their firstborn measure for measure, and gave us the ill-gotten wealth they gained on our backs, and split the sea for us, and led us through it on dry land, and sunk our pursuers in it, and satisfied our needs in the desert for forty years, and fed us the manna, and gave us the Sabbath, and brought us to Mount Sinai, and gave us the Torah, and brought us into Israel, and built us the Temple so that we could atone for all of our sins.
