Happy Passover

Once again, we gather around a festive Passover table. Our time together tonight will commence with order. To fulfill this Seder, we will eat matzah, take up four glasses of wine, partake of bitter herbs, retell the story of the Exodus, and recite songs of praise. We will also enjoy lively discussion, music, and a great meal - all of which add merriment to the occasion. In our hearts, let us consider well the serious meaning of this holiday. Among friends and family, may we count our blessings, explore personal meanings of freedom, commit to ways to help free those that are still oppressed, and begin to take action towards the things that hold us captive in our own personal mitzrayim. Only then can we all consider this Passover Seder truly fulfilled.
