When the Philadelphia branch of the family have had their Seders, as they are tonight, it always ends with songs from mimeographed songsheets that have been in the family for generations.

Most of the songs are traditional Jewish or patriotical American songs, but by a beloved but admittedly odd tradition, the seder ends with this:

When Irish eyes are smiling
Sure, 'tis like the morn in Spring
In the lilt of Irish laughter
You can hear the angels sing
When Irish hearts are happy
All the world seems bright and gay
And when Irish eyes are smiling
Sure, they steal your heart away

(And even more oddly, Google Play credits the song to Frank Zappa!)
