Rabbi's Eliezer, Joshua, Elazar ben Azariah, Akiva and Tarfon   all students who studied at Yavneh under Rav Yochanan ben Zackai

note the absence of Rabbi Gamliel from seder at Bene Barak  

Eliezer - son of a wealthy farmer who did not want him to become a Rabbi - known for T'fillah, Tzedaka, T'shuvah - prayer, penitence, charity to avoid a bad decree 

Joshua - blacksmith, needleman

Eliazar ben Azariah - wealthy family, traces roots back to Ezra - elected to head of Sanhedriin at age 18 - hair turned prematurely gray making him "look like a man of seventy"  Took over after R..Gamliel deposed

R. Tarfon - a court that executes a person every seventy years is a cruel court

R. Akiva - worked as a shepherd for a wealthy farmer until age 40, fell in love with his daughter, Rachel and married her against father's will. Didn't start to study torah until late in life. Love your neighbor as yourself.  Murdered by the Romans chanting the Shema.

R.Gamliel - not present at Bene Barak seder - intentional 80-110 CE  brilliant but arrogant, constantly in conflict with his colleagues, humiliated R. Joshua. Banned from the group    Note the seating arrangement at the seder - individual with highest ranking sits in the middle (see last supper)   Ben Zoma - never became a Rabbi - Simeon Ben Zoma was a pupiil recognized as a master scholar - ? on the autism spectrum
